A small, family-run residential home providing person-centred care for 17 residents.

Position

Part-Time Senior Care Assistant

Hours

Every other weekend
Evening shifts
day shifts available

About the Role

We are looking for a caring, reliable, and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our friendly team. Working within our small residential home, you will support residents with their daily needs while helping to maintain a warm, safe, and homely environment.

Responsibilities

Providing high-quality care and support to residents
Administering medication in accordance with policies and procedures
Supporting and guiding care staff during shifts
Maintaining accurate care records
Promoting residents' dignity, independence, and wellbeing
Liaising with families and healthcare professionals when required

Essential Requirements

Previous experience in a senior care role
Medication administration experience
Good communication and leadership skills
Compassionate, professional, and dependable approach to care
Relevant care qualifications desirable
