Job Summary

Due to continued growth and the development of our specialist residential services, Inspired2Care is seeking enthusiastic, experienced, and motivated Positive Behaviour Support Workers to join our team.

As a Positive Behaviour Support Worker, you will play a key role in supporting adults with complex needs within a specialist residential environment. Working alongside Behaviour Specialists, multidisciplinary professionals, and the wider support team, you will help implement personalised support plans, behavioural support strategies, and positive risk management approaches tailored to each individual's needs.

The role involves supporting individuals with daily living activities, promoting independence and skill development, assisting with emotional regulation, and helping to maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment. You will contribute to reflective practice, accurate documentation, incident management, and the effective day-to-day operation of the service.

QualificationsDesirable

Vocational qualification in Health and Social Care or a related field.

Knowledge (Desirable)

Understanding of Autism, Learning Disabilities, Mental Health needs, and person-centred support approaches.
Awareness of Positive Behaviour Support principles and their practical application.
Knowledge of Health and Safety responsibilities within a care setting.

Full training will be provided.

ExperienceEssential

Minimum of one year's experience working as a Support Worker or within a comparable health and social care role.

Desirable

Experience working within a Positive Behaviour Support framework.
Experience supporting individuals with complex needs and behaviours of concern.
Experience supporting people with significant communication differences.
Knowledge or experience of CPI Safety Intervention approaches.

Other Requirements

Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-ins.
Commitment to completing all mandatory training, including e-learning and face-to-face training programmes.
A willingness to engage in reflective practice and continuous professional development.
