This Position is for WEEKENDS ONLY

About Us
Mini Villagers Co is a brand-new roleplay village and family café. We have created a welcoming space where children can explore imaginative play while families enjoy delicious brunch-style food, fresh juices, smoothies, and coffee in a relaxed setting.

The Role

Immediate Start
We’re looking for a part time mostly weekend bubbly, friendly, energetic, and reliable Café All-Rounders (Play Assistants) to join our team. This is a varied role where you’ll support both the café and play village—helping us create safe, fun, and memorable experiences for families.

What You’ll Do

Greet families and deliver excellent customer service.
Take orders, serve food and drinks, and operate the till.
Prepare hot/cold drinks and assist with light food preparation.
Reset the play areas between 90-minute sessions — tidying toys, reorganising props, and ensuring everything is clean, safe, and ready for the next group.
Assist at birthday parties and special events, including food service, set-up, and clear-down.
Keep café, kitchen, and play spaces spotless, following hygiene and safety standards at all times.
Support the wider team wherever needed from café floor to play village.
Keep all areas spotless — wiping tables, hoovering, mopping floors, and cleaning toilets to a high standard.

What We’re Looking For

Experience in hospitality, barista, or customer service is desirable but not essential.
A warm, approachable personality with a love for working with children and families.
Flexibility and a can-do attitude willing to jump in wherever needed.
Strong awareness of hygiene, safety, and cleanliness.
Ability to multitask and remain calm in a lively, family-focused environment.
Must be willing to complete a DBS check before starting (non-negotiable).
Must be able to work weekends.
