Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Scaffolder/Labourer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with scaffolding erection and dismantling, supporting various construction activities, and ensuring safety standards are maintained on-site. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills across multiple trades within a dynamic environment.

Duties

Assist in the assembly, installation, and dismantling of scaffolding structures in accordance with safety regulations and project specifications.
Support trades such as carpentry, roofing, painting, plumbing, masonry, welding, electrical work, and fabrication as required.
Handle hand tools and power tools safely to aid in construction tasks.
Assist with site preparation, material handling, and clean-up to ensure smooth workflow.
Follow health and safety protocols at all times to minimise risks on-site.
Support the team in maintaining organised work areas and ensuring equipment is in good condition.
Collaborate effectively with team members to meet project deadlines.

Requirements

Previous experience or familiarity with construction trades such as carpentry, roofing, painting, plumbing, masonry, welding, or electrical work is advantageous.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Ability to perform physical labour including lifting heavy materials and working at heights.
Good organisational skills and attention to safety standards.
Willingness to learn new skills across different construction disciplines.
Basic understanding of fabrication processes is desirable but not essential.
Valid health & safety awareness; certification or training in scaffolding is a plus but not mandatory for entry-level candidates.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and adhere to site safety regulations. This role is essential for supporting construction projects from start to finish while ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel involved.

Pay: £14.00-£22.00 per hour
