About Odyssey Plunge

Odyssey Plunge is a rapidly growing premium wellness company specialising in cold plunges, saunas and associated wellness products.

Following strong growth in the UK, we are now launching into France as the first major step in our wider European expansion.

We're looking for a fluent French speaker to join our team and take ownership of the day-to-day customer experience and operational coordination of the French market.

This is an exciting opportunity to join at the very beginning of our European expansion and grow with the business as the French operation develops.

The Role

You'll act as the main point of contact for our French customers and help coordinate orders from initial enquiry through to successful delivery, installation and aftersales support.

You'll work closely with the Founder and our UK operations team while building relationships with our logistics partners, installers and other suppliers in France.

Your responsibilities will include:

Responding to French customer enquiries by email, telephone and WhatsApp
Following up sales enquiries and helping customers choose suitable products
Preparing quotations and progressing customers through to order
Coordinating French customer orders from purchase through to delivery
Liaising with our French warehouse and logistics partners
Arranging deliveries and installations with local trades and installers
Coordinating any servicing or aftersales requirements in France
Translating and reviewing customer-facing French content
Helping maintain and improve the French website and customer communications
Resolving customer queries quickly and professionally
Building relationships with French suppliers, contractors and commercial partners
Maintaining accurate customer and order information within our systems
Identifying ways we can improve the French customer experience
Supporting the wider team as Odyssey expands further across Europe

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is:

Fluent or native-level in French
Fluent in English
Highly organised and comfortable managing several things at once
Confident speaking with customers on the telephone
Friendly, professional and commercially minded
Comfortable solving problems independently
Confident dealing with logistics companies, tradespeople and suppliers
Good with technology and able to learn new systems quickly
Excited by the opportunity to help build a new market rather than simply work within an established process

Experience within customer service, operations, logistics, account management or sales would be particularly useful.

Experience in the wellness, home improvement, interiors, construction or e-commerce sectors would be advantageous but isn't essential.

Location & Working Arrangement

Hybrid – Tunbridge Wells / Remote

This is a hybrid role, with three days per week based at our Tunbridge Wells office and the remaining hours worked remotely.

We're currently building our new office space, which is due to be completed in December 2026. Until then, the position will be 100% remote, before transitioning to the hybrid working arrangement once the office opens.

As this role will work closely with our Founder and UK operations team to develop our French operation, applicants should be within comfortable commuting distance of Tunbridge Wells for the longer-term hybrid arrangement.

You'll be joining at the beginning of Odyssey's expansion into France and will have the opportunity to play an important role in building the operation.

As the French market grows, we expect the responsibilities and opportunities within this position to grow with it, potentially developing into a more senior France-focused operations role.

You'll work directly with the Founder and have genuine input into how we build and operate the French side of the business.

Pay: £17.00 per hour
