We are seeking a dedicated Bank Cook to join our team at Betsy Clara Nursing Home in Maidstone to cover holiday & sickness. As a Bank Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing nutritious meals that enhance the well-being of our residents, reflecting our commitment to quality and care.
As a Cook, you’ll play a crucial role in the success of our care home. That’s why we’re looking for someone who’s committed to maintaining the highest standards in the kitchen and during the food preparation process. You will be passionate about providing our residents with tasty and nutritious meals.
The successful candidate should have at least two years previous experience as a cook in a similar environment and catering for specialist diets, providing meals for large groups of people, alongside a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
Ideally, you will also hold a Level 2 Diploma in Food Production and Cooking or equivalent but this is not essential. You’ll be confident in engaging with our residents to understand their individual needs and enjoy being part of the wider team in the home.
