Your role
- Evaluate and analyse contract performance across a portfolio of mid‑ to high‑value Local Authority and NHS ICB accounts, identifying financial risks and recommending effective solutions
- Plan and deliver contract management activity, monitoring contracts against specifications to ensure compliance with legislation, regulatory standards, procurement processes, and contractual terms
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, proactively identifying and addressing service delivery and financial performance issues
- Lead and support end‑to‑end bid processes, from review and approval through to submission and award, ensuring high‑quality tenders and supporting strong win rates
- Maintain accurate and effective filing systems, databases, and records to support robust contract management and service delivery tracking
- Identify, assess, and escalate risks within the contract portfolio, working with senior colleagues to ensure timely mitigation and resolution
- Support continuous improvement by contributing to projects, service developments, and change programmes aligned to team and organisational objectives
Your skills
- Demonstrable experience in a similar role, consistently delivering high‑quality outcomes
- Strong understanding of relevant legislation, regulations, and best practice, with the ability to apply this effectively in a practical setting
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and perform under pressure
- Sound working knowledge of contract management processes and their application to support effective service delivery
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement appropriate solutions
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to influence and build effective relationships with third‑party suppliers and partners to achieve positive outcomes
