About the Role

As a Care Coordinator, you will play a central role in ensuring our clients receive safe, high quality, person centred care while supporting our care staff to thrive. You will work closely with the Registered Manager, care team, clients, and families to coordinate care packages, manage rotas, respond to changing needs, and help maintain the warm, family feel that makes Ashwell different.

You will be someone who genuinely cares about people, communicates openly, stays calm under pressure, and enjoys finding solutions.

What You Will Be Doing

Coordinating Care

Creating and managing care staff rotas efficiently and fairly
Matching care staff to clients based on personality, needs, and continuity
Responding quickly to changes in care needs, staffing, or emergencies
Supporting smooth onboarding of new care packages

Supporting People

Building positive relationships with clients, families, and care staff
Being a friendly and reassuring point of contact
Supporting care staff with day to day guidance and encouragement
Helping maintain high morale and team wellbeing

Quality and Compliance

Ensuring care visits are delivered safely and on time
Monitoring electronic care records and identifying any concerns
Helping ensure compliance with CQC standards and company policies

Communication and Teamwork

Working collaboratively with the management team
Maintaining accurate records and documentation
Communicating openly and professionally with all stakeholders
Promoting Ashwell’s culture, values, and standards at all times

Experience and Skills

Ideally, you will have:

Experience within health and social care
Experience in care coordination, scheduling, or administration preferred
Good IT skills and confidence using digital systems
Strong communication and problem solving skills
Have planning experience
A full UK driving licence is preferred however, we welcome applicants with transferable skills and the right values.
