Help Shape the Next Stage of Amore Renewables

Amore Renewables is a growing renewable energy company, delivering tailored energy and energy-efficiency solutions designed around the needs of homeowners. From Solar PV and battery storage to energy-efficiency and funding solutions, we're focused on making renewable energy more accessible.

We’re looking for an exceptional Business Development Manager to help drive our next stage of growth. This is a senior commercial role for someone who knows the renewable energy sector, understands funding and finance, and has the relationships, experience and ambition to turn opportunities into results.

We’re setting the bar high. You’ll have the autonomy to open new markets, secure funding opportunities, build strategic partnerships and create new revenue streams.

The Role

As our Business Development Manager, you’ll take ownership of identifying and developing commercial opportunities across the renewable energy sector.

Working closely with the senior leadership team, you’ll help shape and execute our business development strategy, building relationships with funders, partners, developers, commercial organisations and other key stakeholders.

Your responsibilities will include:

Identifying and securing new business opportunities across the renewable energy market
Building a strong and sustainable commercial pipeline
Developing strategic partnerships and long-term commercial relationships
Identifying, sourcing and developing funding and finance opportunities for renewable energy projects
Building and maintaining relationships with funders, investors, finance providers and other relevant partners
Developing commercially viable propositions and presenting opportunities to senior stakeholders
Negotiating commercial agreements and progressing opportunities through to completion
Identifying new markets, partnerships, projects and revenue streams
Monitoring developments across the renewable energy and wider energy sectors
Representing Amore Renewables with clients, partners, funders and industry stakeholders
Working autonomously while collaborating closely with the senior leadership team
Helping shape the longer-term commercial and growth strategy for Amore Renewables

Who We Are Looking For

This isn’t an entry-level role. We’re looking for an established renewable energy professional who brings industry knowledge, strong relationships and a proven track record of commercial delivery.

You’ll ideally have:

Significant experience within the energy and renewables sector
A strong track record in senior business or commercial development
Excellent knowledge of the UK renewables landscape
Proven experience sourcing, structuring or securing funding/finance for renewable energy projects
An established network across renewables, funding and investment
Strong commercial and financial acumen, with experience taking opportunities from concept to commercial agreement
Confidence engaging and negotiating with senior decision-makers, investors, funders and partners
An entrepreneurial, autonomous mindset with the drive to spot opportunities and turn them into results

Experience across Solar PV, Battery Energy Storage and wider renewable technologies, including EV infrastructure, would be a real advantage.
