Full job description

We are seeking a professional, compassionate, and dedicated Laser Therapist to join our growing team at Skin Medical — a busy, luxury CQC-regulated clinic and surgical practice located in the heart of St Ann’s Square.

Established in 2004 and recently renovated to an exceptional standard, our clinic has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality surgical and medical treatments within a supportive and patient-focused environment. We treat both private and NHS patients for laser hair removal, many of whom are undergoing deeply personal and emotional journeys. Our role extends beyond treatment alone — we are here to support our patients with care, empathy, professionalism, and understanding throughout their experience with us.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced practitioner who is passionate about aesthetics, patient care, and working within a high-end clinical setting alongside a friendly and ambitious team.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of laser treatments, excellent customer service skills, and a genuine passion for helping clients achieve their goals safely and confidently.

Responsibilities

Perform laser hair removal treatments safely and effectively in accordance with clinic protocols and CQC standards
Conduct thorough consultations with patients, assess suitability for treatment, explain procedures, and set realistic expectations
Support both NHS and private patients with compassion, professionalism, and sensitivity throughout their treatment journeys
Maintain detailed and accurate treatment records and monitor patient progress
Ensure all laser equipment is maintained, calibrated, and operated in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and safety standards
Provide thorough pre- and post-treatment advice to optimise treatment outcomes and minimise risk
Uphold exceptional standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and professionalism within the clinic at all times
Work collaboratively with the wider clinical team to deliver an outstanding patient experience
Stay informed about developments in laser technology, skincare, and aesthetics through ongoing professional development

Skills & Experience

Minimum 1 year experience performing laser hair removal treatments
Relevant laser qualifications and competency certification are essential
Electrolysis experience is highly desirable but not essential
Excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds
Professional, reliable, compassionate, and well-presented
Ability to work confidently in a fast-paced clinical environment whilst maintaining exceptional attention to detail and safety standards
Organised with strong time management skills and the ability to manage appointments efficiently
A genuine passion for aesthetics, skincare, and helping patients feel confident and cared for
