Overview
Join our vibrant team as a Manchester Dessert Cart Team Member, where you will play a key role in delivering delightful sweet treats to our customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing excellent customer service and showcasing your culinary skills. Ideal for individuals passionate about food, with a keen eye for detail and a friendly demeanour. All roles are paid, ensuring fair compensation for your efforts.

PAY IS BASED OFF MINIMUM WAGE

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of desserts from the cart, ensuring high standards of presentation and quality.
Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and offering recommendations.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dessert cart, adhering to food safety regulations at all times.
Upsell additional items to maximise sales opportunities while enhancing customer experience.
Manage cash transactions accurately using basic maths skills.
Restock supplies as needed during shifts to ensure the cart remains fully stocked throughout operating hours.
Assist in setting up and packing down the dessert cart at the start and end of each shift.

Skills

Experience in food preparation or working within a restaurant environment is highly desirable.
Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures to ensure hygienic practices are maintained.
Previous experience serving customers, with excellent communication skills and a friendly attitude.
Basic maths proficiency for handling transactions accurately.
Kitchen or culinary experience is advantageous, demonstrating familiarity with food handling and presentation.
Strong time management skills to efficiently manage multiple orders during busy periods.
Ability to upsell products effectively, enhancing sales while providing excellent customer service.
Organised and attentive to detail, ensuring the dessert cart remains clean, safe, and inviting at all times. This role offers an engaging environment where your passion for food and customer service can shine through.
