Office Administrator – Transport & Logistics

Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00am – 6:00pm
Job Type: Full-time

We are looking for a reliable and organised Office Administrator to join our busy transport operation.

The main responsibility of this role is entering collection and delivery jobs accurately onto our internal transport system. You will be working with job information throughout the day, ensuring that all details are entered quickly, accurately and correctly so that our operations team and drivers have the information they need.

Key Responsibilities

Entering collection and delivery jobs onto our internal system
Accurately inputting addresses, contact details, reference numbers, timings and job instructions
Checking information carefully before jobs are processed
Updating existing jobs when details change
Communicating with the operations team to resolve missing or unclear information
General administrative duties as required
Managing a busy workload while maintaining a high level of accuracy

What We're Looking For

The most important qualities for this position are speed, accuracy and attention to detail.

You should be:

Confident using computers and learning new systems
A fast and accurate typist/data entry operator
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Comfortable working at pace in a busy office environment
Able to prioritise your workload effectively
Reliable and punctual
A good communicator and team player

Previous administration, data entry, transport or logistics experience would be beneficial, but it is not essential. Full training on our internal system will be provided.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday
10:00am – 6:00pm

No weekend working.

About the Role

This is an important position within our operation. The information entered into our system is used to organise collections and deliveries, so getting the details right is essential.

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can maintain accuracy when things get busy, and enjoys working as part of a fast-paced team.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: £13.00 per hour
