We have an exciting opportunity to join our Digital Technical Excellence College initiative as a Multimedia Executive. This is fixed term, hybrid role based at our City Centre Campus in Manchester, with a contract end date in March 2027. Overview
The Digital Technical Excellence College (DigiTEC) is part of a national initiative to strengthen the UK’s digital workforce acting as the skills delivery arm of the UK’s Digital and Technologies Sector Plan, turning national priorities into real opportunities across the region.
The Manchester College and UCEN Manchester, have been awarded Digital Technical Excellence College Status (DigiTec). The DigiTec will act as a regional centre of excellence for digital and technical education, supporting economic growth, productivity, and workforce development across the Digital sector.
This role will support the DigiTec brand and performance marketing initiatives with a strong focus on delivering engaging content and executing impactful marketing campaigns, events and plans. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving brand awareness through the creation of compelling content, engagement, and conversion opportunities across digital and offline channels to both internal and external audiences across Liverpool City Region, Greater Manchester, Lancashire and Yorkshire.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, preferably in a marketing or related subject.
- Track record of collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver effective multi-media campaigns and customer experiences.
- Experience with digital marketing tactics such as PPC and other paid media and social media.
- Proficiency with marketing tools such as CMS platforms, email marketing software (e.g., Campaign master, Dynamics), and social media management tools (e.g. Hootsuite, HubSpot).
- Creative thinker with attention to detail and a proactive, can-do attitude.
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills for different audiences and platforms.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines for activities such as recruitment campaigns and events.
- Analytical mindset with a good understanding of marketing metrics and KPIs.
- Strong planning skills, used to working to tight deadlines, while still maintaining attention to detail.
- Good organisational skills, with the ability to manage a multitude of activities with competing deadlines.
- The ability and attitude to embrace technology to optimise all marketing activities.
- The ability to analyse data to understand what is working and what is not to provide actionable insights to improve understanding and performance.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong stakeholder relationships.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and strong listening skills.
