Social Inclusion Worker

TAYPAS

18.75 hours per week

SCP 21 - 25, £13,630 - £15,154 (£27,261 - £30,308 FTE)

Support individuals to build and maintain stable, independent lives.

At Stepping Stone Projects, we are committed to preventing homelessness, supporting independence, and transforming lives. Our vision is that together we will end homelessness by 2034. We provide accommodation and support to people who are homeless or at risk, empowering individuals to build positive, independent futures. We are looking for a motivated and compassionate Social Inclusion Worker to join our team.

About the Role

You will support young people aged 18–25 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness to access services, build skills, and improve their social, emotional, and practical wellbeing. Working both within our services and the wider community, you will deliver engaging activities, promote independence, and support positive move-on outcomes.

You will play a key role within the Team Around the Young Person framework, working collaboratively with partners to deliver high-quality, person-centred support

What you’ll be doing

Plan and deliver meaningful activities that improve wellbeing and promote independence
Manage a caseload, providing person-centred support tailored to individual goals
Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners
Engage community services to enhance opportunities for young people
Promote safeguarding and adhere to policies and procedures
Record outcomes, monitor progress, and contribute to KPI reporting
Support young people to develop skills and achieve sustainable move-on

About you

You’ll be confident, organised, and passionate about supporting young people to succeed, with the ability to deliver engaging activities and meaningful support.

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:

Experience supporting individuals with complex needs
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to plan and deliver engaging activities
A trauma-informed and solution-focused approach
Confidence working with a range of stakeholders and services
A genuine passion for empowering young people
