Absolute Venues Hale Cheshire – Office based position

As one of the UK’s leading Venue Finders we specialise in delivering Meetings, Conference’s & Events & Accommodation bookings, UK Europe & Worldwide. We currently have an opportunity for a forward thinking, pro-active person for Meetings and Events Venue Soucing – could this be you?

This is an amazing opportunity to engage with like-minded event professionals who are passionate about delivering successful events from small, highly focussed meetings to large scale conferences in the UK & Worldwide The focus for this position is to be responsible for the providing a venue sourcing service second to none, including rate negotiations, dealing with client briefs, producing proposals for their events in a timely and professional manner locations throughout UK, Europe, Worldwide You will also work closely with our key clients and develop relationships across all levels of the M&E business. We work on the Gratis Venue Directory platform which full training will be given. You must be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines whilst demonstrating exceptional attention to detail. You will be working on multiple accounts and need to be adaptable to manage multiple enquiries and be able to work in a fast-paced fun environment.

The successful candidate will have good organisational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with people both inside and outside the organisation and enjoy working as part of a small team. You will be highly customer focused and have an excellent command of English language both written and orally. This is an exciting opportunity for a pro-active candidate with a can-do attitude and outstanding attention to detail.

If this sounds like you and you ideally will have 2 years’ experience in meeting and events, maybe a Hotel C&B department, MICE, or a Venue Finding environment we would love to hear from you.

Mature minded person with excellent communication skills, As well as a pro-active can-do attitude you should be able to work independently and to ‘think outside the box’. Exceptional time management skills along with the ability to prioritise and multi-task are essential.

Office based position

Competitive Salary for an experienced person

Monday – Friday 9-00 – 5.00 (30 mins for lunch)

20 days holiday + bank holidays

Birthday holiday – day off after 12 months
