Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Domestic Abuse Project Worker to support individuals who are experiencing Domestic Abuse. The ideal candidate will have experience working with victim-survivors and possess a strong sense of responsibility and organisation. The candidate should be able to deliver a risk led response and ensure victims are kept central in their delivery.

Responsibilities

Accept referrals allocated by the service manager and commence an initial need and risk assessment with the individuals within the specified timescales.
Assessing support, risks and supporting immediate safety.
Managing own caseload, planning and delivery of support to clients based on risk and need.
Develop equal partnerships between the clients who use our services and professionals. To ensure we can make the best use of resources, deliver better outcomes for our clients; build safer futures and stronger resilience.
Ensure that all safeguarding measures are always delivered in respect of the client and their children and that you adhere strictly to SAHWR policies and procedures in respect of safeguarding vulnerable adults and children.
Ensure that all monitoring data is completed to time and that KPI’s are met.
Maintain excellent confidential records, provide detailed handover reports to colleagues, appropriate referral information when working in partnership with other agencies and ensure that consistent and accurate monitoring systems are maintained.
Always act in a professional manner, communicating effectively with colleagues and partners, always building, and sustaining effective and appropriate relationships with clients, colleagues, and partners and complying with SAHWR policies and procedures.

General Tasks

The role holder will be expected to perform any other duties that may reasonably be asked of them.
To participate fully in “on call” as required in the delivery of contingency plans outside of the normal working hours.
Comply with data protection legislation, confidentiality and information sharing policy and procedures and all legislation connected to your work.
Respect and value the diversity of the community in which the services work in and recognise the needs and concerns of a diverse range of survivors ensuring the service is accessible to all.
Utilise excellent IT skills to maintain accurate and confidential electronic case management records and contribute to monitoring for the service.
Produce monthly statistics to enable effective monitoring of the service in line with local service level agreements.
Remain up-to-date and compliant with all organisational procedures policies and professional codes of conduct and uphold standards of best practice.

Pay: £27,008.00-£34,423.00 per year
