Full job description

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated, articulate and organised individual to join our Management team. We are a charming four star Hotel in the heart of the New Forest in Brockenhurst, and we are looking for an excellent Duty Manager. We always seek to achieve the highest standards of customer care. Locally we have an excellent reputation and we are a busy wedding and function venues. The ideal Duty Manager needs to be comfortable helping to run all these operations, have a strong F&B background and must display good organisational, paperwork and customer-relation skills.

In return we can offer the ideal candidate:-

· A rate of pay up to 35.5K

Our requirements:

· Excellent knowledge of food, drink & service standards. Minimum of 2 years experience at this level.

· Previous experience working a similar sized establishment

· The ideal candidate in this position must thrive in a dynamic, fast paced environment, maintaining a courteous demeanour with guests, as well as effectively make use of the quiet times

· Strong leadership and personnel management skills should be accompanied by a customer service orientation and a commitment to company values and image

· You will work on a rota basis which includes weekends & evenings (5 days from 7)

· Smart appearance is essential

· Weekend and Bank Holiday work will be required
