Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in a variety of settings, including residential and commercial environments. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing principles, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. The successful applicant will possess excellent problem-solving skills and be committed to delivering high-quality service.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, and appliances in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry skills to complete tasks effectively.
Conduct inspections to identify issues with existing plumbing infrastructure and determine appropriate solutions.
Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to facilitate installation or repairs.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts utilised for each project.
Collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times during operations.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Plumber or in a similar role within the construction or maintenance industry.
Proficiency with plumbing techniques, mechanical systems, welding, carpentry, and assembly processes.
Competence in using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment relevant to plumbing tasks.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments.
Valid driving licence.
Own tools preferred.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and safety compliance.
Honest, punctual and reliable.
