Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care within a dynamic clinical environment. This position offers an opportunity to utilise your leadership skills and nursing expertise to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives. The role requires excellent communication skills, strong organisational abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Duties

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in accordance with established care plans and clinical guidelines
Monitor patient conditions, record observations, and report any changes promptly to the medical team
Develop, implement, and evaluate personalised care plans tailored to individual patient needs
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, adhering to protocols and regulations
Offer emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatment options
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless service delivery
Lead by example in maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and professionalism within the clinical setting
Assist in training and mentoring junior staff and new team members as required
Lead the team of care staff on shift

Requirements

Valid registration as a Registered Nurse with the appropriate regulatory body
Proven experience in a clinical or hospital environment, demonstrating strong nursing skills
Demonstrable leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide team members
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to liaise effectively with patients, families, and colleagues
Strong organisational skills with effective time management capabilities to prioritise tasks efficiently
Knowledge of current healthcare practices, policies, and procedures related to patient care
Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail and delivering compassionate care
A commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning within the nursing field

Pay: £20.95 per hour
