Our Corby Office is currently seeking a highly motivated Accounts Assistant to join our dynamic team.

About the Role
This is a great opportunity to join a fast paced, international finance team where accuracy, ownership, and teamwork really matter. As an Accounts Assistant, you’ll play a key role across multiple entities and currencies, while building strong finance experience in a supportive environment.
You’ll work closely with colleagues across the business, gaining hands on exposure to banking platforms, accounting systems, and month end processes — making this an ideal role for someone looking to develop their career in finance.

Key Responsibilities

Processing supplier and miscellaneous payments using HSBC Net and Sage
Reconciling payments against invoices and cashbooks, ensuring everything balances correctly
Verifying supplier bank details to maintain accuracy and prevent payment issues
Managing invoices received by email and ensuring they are correctly recorded
Handling corporate card expenses (HSBC & AMEX), including receipt collection, reconciliation, and follow ups
Performing daily bank reconciliations and supporting month end close activities
Assisting with exchange rates, reports, and audit ready documentation
Responding professionally to internal and supplier payment queries
Maintaining clear, accurate records and supporting intercompany invoicing
Maintaining the tracker for Withholding tax analysis
Assist colleagues with other duties as necessary to ensure smooth operation of the department

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience in Accounts Payable or a finance administration role
Strong attention to detail with confidence in reconciliations
Comfortable working with accounting systems and Excel
Able to manage deadlines, particularly around month end
A proactive, organised approach with a willingness to learn

This is an important role within the organisation. The Accounts Assistant is a key focal point for Fulkrum staff members. It is imperative that they always give a professional and courteous impression which is reflective of the company’s approach to clients, candidates, colleagues and all whom the organisation has an interaction with.

HSE Awareness:

All personnel are informed of Fulkrum's Health and Safety policy and procedures during the onboarding process. Any HSE incidents must be reported and logged with the QHSE Manager, who will oversee and support any subsequent investigations.
