Overview
We are seeking a talented and personable individual to join our team as a <PERSON>. Previous experience in barbering or hair styling is preferred, but a strong desire to learn and develop in this field is essential. Excellent communication skills and fluency in English are required to effectively interact with clients and team members. This paid position provides valuable experience for those passionate about the beauty industry.

Responsibilities

Provide professional hair styling and barbering services tailored to client preferences
Deliver outstanding customer service by creating a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere
Consult with clients to understand their needs and recommend suitable styles or treatments
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work station and tools
Keep up-to-date with current trends, techniques, and products in hair styling and barbering
Ensure all health and safety standards are adhered to at all times
Manage appointment schedules efficiently to maximise client satisfaction and operational flow

Requirements

Proven experience or training in hair styling or barbering is desirable
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Ability to work well within a team as well as independently
Organised, professional, and attentive to detail
Willingness to learn new techniques and stay updated with industry trends
Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential; enthusiasm for the profession is key
