Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and friendly Barista to join our vibrant team! In this role, you will be the face of our coffee shop, creating a welcoming environment for every guest while crafting delicious beverages and ensuring smooth operations. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help deliver exceptional customer experiences, making each visit memorable. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in food service and customer engagement within a dynamic setting.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
Greet customers warmly, taking their orders accurately and efficiently
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, dining area, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards
Handle cash register operations, including processing payments and giving correct change
Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light meals when needed
Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly without sacrificing quality
Follow all food safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for both staff and guests

Requirements

Prior experience as a Barista or in a similar food service role is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential
Knowledge of food safety practices and standards
Ability to perform serving duties efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service skills
Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
Capable of standing for extended periods and performing physical tasks such as lifting supplies or equipment
A positive attitude, reliability, and eagerness to contribute to a team-oriented environment

Pay: £12.00-£13.00 per hour
