Full job description

We’re an award-winning & independent, family run business offering customers a Hotel, Restaurant, Butchery, Bakery, Cafe & Pizzeria. We are looking for a Full Time Bread Baker to join our Bakery team. The Bakery sits in the heart of our established Cafe, Bakery & Deli and has its own seating area serving bakery goods, Neapolitan pizzas & gourmet sandwiches.

This is a full-time role including some weekend work, and will include early mornings as required.

Job Responsibilities

Assist the bakery team in developing and adding to our product range, and create any new product recipes
Preparing and baking traditional breads
Support the on-site restaurant chef brigade to produce sweet and savoury products that complement our high-end casual dining restaurant menu
Mix, prepare and bake all products to ensure consistent high quality
Assist the bakery team with ordering, stock control and wastage
Adhere to health & safety, food safety regulations and maintain and update all EHO & HACCP paperwork
No till work required - front of house bakery team handles transactions

Skills required

Creative, full of ideas and good knowledge on traditional bread baking
Some knowledge of sweet treats and pastries
Organisational skills
Level 2 Food Hygiene is preferred, however training will be provided

Live in potentially available - this can be discussed at the interview stage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
