Do you enjoy keeping things organised while helping people through challenging situations?

We're looking for a proactive and organised Insurance Administrator to join our Risk & Assurance team at PA Housing.

This is a varied role where you'll support the day to day management of insurance claims, helping residents, colleagues and insurers work together to resolve claims as smoothly as possible. From coordinating information and maintaining accurate records to supporting investigations, you'll play an important part in delivering an efficient and customer focused insurance service.

This role is about more than administration. It's about helping residents when they need us most, ensuring claims are handled professionally, and supporting a service that protects both our customers and our organisation.

What you’ll be doing

Support the day to day administration of insurance claims, helping to deliver a smooth and efficient service for residents and colleagues
Be the first point of contact for incoming insurance enquiries, making sure requests are prioritised and responded to promptly
Maintain accurate claims records and ensure all documentation is up to date and easy to access
Gather information to support claim investigations and prepare case information for review
Manage lower value insurance claims from start to finish, ensuring customers are kept informed throughout
Raise purchase orders, process invoices and support the financial administration of the service
Re-produce regular reports and management information to help monitor claims activity and performance
Assist with the annual insurance renewal process by collecting and organising key information
Build positive relationships with colleagues, insurers, loss adjusters and other partners to deliver great customer outcomes
Support the wider Risk & Assurance team with projects and administrative activities when needed
Look for opportunities to improve processes and help make the service even more efficient

Have experience working in a busy administrative role
Are highly organised and enjoy managing multiple tasks and deadlines
Have excellent attention to detail and take pride in producing accurate work
Are confident communicating with a wide range of people and building positive working relationships
Have strong customer service skills and enjoy helping people
Are comfortable using Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams
Can work independently while also being a supportive member of a team
Have good problem solving skills and enjoy finding practical solutions
Have an understanding of insurance within a housing environment, or are keen to develop your knowledge
Bring a positive, proactive and continuous improvement mindset to everything you do
