Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths and English Teacher to join our educational team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons to students across various age groups, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting students' academic development. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about education and working with teenagers with Special Educational Needs 16+. The position is paid and suitable for both experienced teachers and those beginning their teaching careers.

Duties

Plan, prepare, and deliver effective lessons in Maths and English tailored to students’ individual needs.
Assess students’ progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages active participation and confidence building.
Adapt teaching methods to accommodate students with special educational requirements or diverse learning styles.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student achievements.
Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support students’ overall development.
Incorporate innovative teaching resources and technology to enhance lesson delivery.
Promote positive behaviour management strategies to ensure a safe and respectful classroom setting.

Qualifications

Proven experience in tutoring or teaching Maths and English at various levels.
Working knowledge of special education needs (SEN) is essential.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
Demonstrated ability to adapt teaching approaches to meet individual student requirements.
Passion for education and a genuine interest in supporting children's academic growth.
Relevant teaching qualifications.
This role provides an enriching environment where educators can make a meaningful difference in students’ lives while developing their professional skills within a supportive team.

Pay: £16.00-£20.00 per hour
