Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a genuine passion for helping clients improve their physical and mental well-being through therapeutic massage techniques. This role offers an opportunity to work in a relaxing environment, providing customised treatments tailored to individual needs. Candidates must be fully qualified, licensed, and committed to delivering exceptional service to promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall health.

Duties

Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their specific needs and preferences.
Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and aromatherapy massages.
Develop personalised treatment plans aimed at alleviating pain, reducing stress, and improving mobility.
Maintain a clean and hygienic workspace in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Keep accurate records of treatments provided and client progress.
Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend appropriate follow-up sessions or self-care routines.
Promote wellness programmes and additional services offered by the clinic to enhance client experience.
Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and sanitised after each use.

Experience

Proven experience as a Massage Therapist with relevant qualifications recognised by the appropriate regulatory body.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and various massage techniques.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen attentively and provide empathetic client care.
Ability to adapt treatments based on individual client needs and preferences.
Certification in first aid is desirable but not essential.
Previous experience working in a spa or wellness centre is advantageous but not mandatory for newly qualified therapists willing to learn on the job.
