Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Duty Manager to oversee daily operations within our hospitality establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences, and the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a background in hotel management, human resources, or guest services to contribute to the organisation’s success while ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery across all departments.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff members to ensure high standards of guest service and operational efficiency.
Manage guest relations, addressing any concerns promptly and professionally to maintain customer satisfaction.
Oversee daily operational procedures, including check-in/check-out processes, reservations, and room allocations.
Assist in training and mentoring team members to uphold company policies and service standards.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as organisational policies.
Handle escalated issues or emergencies with professionalism and composure.
Support human resources functions such as scheduling, staff attendance monitoring, and performance evaluations.
Promote a welcoming environment that reflects the organisation’s values and commitment to excellence.

Skills

Proven supervising experience within the hospitality or hotel industry.
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
Excellent communication skills; fluency in multiple languages or bilingual abilities are highly desirable.
Experience in guest services, hospitality management, or related fields.
Organisational skills with an aptitude for multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of human resources practices including staff training and development.
Customer-focused mindset with outstanding problem-solving abilities.
Flexibility to work shifts as required, including evenings or weekends if necessary. This role is ideal for motivated professionals eager to advance their career within the hospitality sector while delivering memorable experiences for guests through effective management and leadership.
