Job Summary

Applicants must be 18 and above with experience.

We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar/Waiting Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service in a lively dining environment, ensuring a memorable experience for all patrons. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within the hospitality industry, working in a dynamic setting that values teamwork, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and take their orders accurately, providing friendly and attentive service throughout their visit
Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation standards are maintained
Prepare and replenish bar areas, including mixing drinks and maintaining stock levels
Handle cash transactions efficiently and accurately using the point-of-sale system
Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, adhering to food safety standards
Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities while maintaining guest satisfaction
Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, bar, and service stations in accordance with health and safety regulations
Respond promptly to guest requests or complaints, resolving issues professionally to ensure a positive experience

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is highly desirable
Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques
Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Good communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
Basic maths skills for handling payments and bills accurately
Experience with guest services, including upselling menu items to enhance the guest experience
Kitchen experience or culinary background is a plus but not essential
A proactive attitude with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service
