Trainee Event Manager | Glasgow | Full-Time | Entry Level

We're looking for an ambitious Trainee Event Manager to join our growing team in Glasgow.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to build a career in event management. You'll gain practical experience supporting the planning, coordination, and delivery of live events, promotional campaigns, and client activations while developing the leadership and organisational skills needed to manage projects independently.

Whether you're a recent graduate or looking to transition into the events industry, we'll provide comprehensive training, ongoing mentoring, and genuine opportunities for career progression.

Your Responsibilities

As a Trainee Event Manager, you'll:

Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of live events and promotional campaigns.
Support event managers with project planning, scheduling, and operational logistics.
Coordinate venue preparation, supplier communications, and event materials.
Help oversee event setup, delivery, and breakdown to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Monitor project timelines and support the successful completion of event objectives.
Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
Supervise event activities and resolve operational issues with support from senior colleagues.
Prepare event reports, project updates, and post-event evaluations.
Represent the company professionally at client meetings and live events.
Participate in leadership training and ongoing professional development programmes.
