We’re looking for an experienced, organised, accurate and commercially minded Commercial Administration & Trade Account Support Executive to help keep our trade accounts, product data, orders and internal workflows running smoothly.
This role could suit someone looking for a full-time position or someone experienced who wants a part-time role with real responsibility. We are open to discussing the right working pattern for the right person
.This is not an accountancy role, but it does include some finance and commercial admin tasks, such as credit control, invoicing support, order inputting, product data management and trade account follow-up.
You’ll support the Business Development Manager and Head of Finance across trade admin, retailer support, dropship partners, councils, schools and independent retail.If you’re confident with Excel, brilliant with detail, calm under pressure and happy juggling lots of moving parts at once, you’ll fit right in.

About the role and what you’ll do
Trade account support
- Manage daily trade orders, partner requests and account queries
- Support trade customers, retailers, schools and councils with accurate, helpful admin
- Build strong working relationships with existing trade accounts
- Respond to queries from trade partners quickly and professionally
- Chase deliveries, resolve order issues and keep partners updated
- Support key accounts with product information, order updates, stock availability and documentation
- Help warm up prospects across schools, councils and independent retailers
- Keep account information, pricing, order details and partner records accurate and up to date
Order, stock and fulfilment admin
- Input orders accurately across trade, marketplace and dropship channels
- Track orders from placement through to delivery
- Chase delivery updates and help resolve fulfilment issues
- Manage stock information across trade, FBA and dropship locations
- Keep dropship partners within agreed service levels
- Handle delivery documentation and fulfilment queries
- Spot operational issues early and help prevent them becoming bigger problems
Product data and commercial admin
- Input and maintain accurate product information across systems
- Support new product set-up, product data entry and retailer onboarding information
- Work with spreadsheets, line forms, product lists and partner templates
- Help ensure product data, pricing and availability information is correct
- Support invoicing, credit control and account follow-up where needed
- Keep internal workflows tidy, updated and easy for others to follow
- Prepare clear, accurate information for existing and new partners

What this role isn’t
This is not a traditional finance or accountancy role. You won’t be preparing accounts or doing bookkeeping, but you will support with commercial admin tasks such as credit control, invoicing follow-up, order accuracy and account information.
It is also not a sales role where you’ll be expected to cold call all day or win new business from scratch. You will, however, support existing trade customers, schools, councils, retailers and prospects by keeping information accurate, chasing updates and making sure things move forward.
This is not a slow-paced admin role either. There will be lots of small, important tasks happening at once, from order inputting and delivery chasing to product data, spreadsheets and account queries. The right person will enjoy being busy, organised and accurate, even when there are several things competing for attention.
What you will definitely need to be considered
- Experience in an admin, commercial admin, trade support, operations or account support role
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills
- Confidence using multiple systems and tools
- Excellent written communication
- High attention to detail
- Strong data entry accuracy
- Ability to manage several tasks without dropping the ball
- Reliability and pride in doing things properly
- Comfort with repetitive, routine and process-led admin
- A confident, helpful approach when dealing with customers, retailers or partners
What would be useful but is not essential
- Experience supporting trade accounts, retailers or wholesale customers
- Understanding of dropship operations
- Basic knowledge of fulfilment processes and stock movements
- Experience with invoicing, credit control or commercial admin
- Familiarity with product data, line forms or onboarding packs
- Experience working with marketplaces, schools, councils or independent retailers
