Job Title: Artic Driver

Location: Rochford, Essex

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum (Updated - please see Important Information below).

Working pattern: 45 hours per week; start and finish times vary; nights out are expected for class 1 driver. Overtime as required to complete daily tasks.

The salary reflects the average annual earnings range, which includes the potential bonuses, overtime and set payment for nights our with paid parking, along with the basic hourly rate of £15.80ph.

What the role is like

Our Driver role is incredibly varied, and the successful candidates will be asked to travel to different customer sites and Lemon depots. Therefore, the ability to be flexible and adapt will need to be demonstrated; no two shifts are likely to be the same and you will be asked to do overnight work. You’ll be expected to have at least 1 year of driving experience, the right category on your driving licence and have your driver CPC. However, ongoing training will be given.

In addition, you will work alongside the production team to meet company deadlines. A good ability to communicate and have a positive attitude is therefore essential. Being a driver will come with its challenges. You will be expected to assist with loading if required and sometimes will have to work long hours. Being resilient and having an understanding of the business will be key.
