Full job description

Overview

We are seeking a proactive and organised Maintenance Support Administrator to join our team. This role is central to ensuring efficient communication between tenants and the maintenance department, helping to deliver a responsive and high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the first point of contact for tenants regarding maintenance queries via telephone.
Manage and respond to a dedicated WhatsApp communication channel with tenants in a timely and professional manner.
Log, update, and track maintenance requests accurately on internal systems.
Liaise effectively with the wider maintenance team, contractors, and other departments to ensure issues are resolved efficiently.
Prioritise and escalate urgent maintenance issues as required.
Maintain clear and accurate records of all communications and job updates.
Support general administrative duties within the maintenance department.

Skills & Experience Required

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience in a customer service or administrative role (property or maintenance environment preferred).
Confident handling phone calls and messaging platforms in a professional setting.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Ability to work well under pressure and prioritise workload effectively.
Good attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.
Competent in using Microsoft Office and/or job management systems.

Pay: From £25,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
