Full job description

The role will require working in the distribution yard, reporting to the Distribution Manager, you will responsible for data entry and the control of vehicles when entering site.

The successful candidate’s main objective will be:

To enter information into the computer systems to maintain current data bases.
Process delivery and collection notes.
Control and direct vehicles when entering site.
Actively working in conjunction with the Transport department.
Answering internal and external enquiries, via telephone, fax and email.

Personal skills required:

Good telephone / communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be good at working with detail in a logical and organised way.
Work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
Demonstrate high levels of enthusiasm and a real eagerness to learn.
PC literate and numerate, a good working knowledge of Microsoft excel would be an advantage.

Whilst it is advantageous that you have some experience in a similar position, the successful candidate will receive full training.

The above positions will be rewarded with a permanent contract, progressive rates of pay, 32 days paid holidays per year plus loyalty days (up to 34 days), auto enrolment into our pension scheme which includes 5% employer contributions and employee life insurance.

Working 39 hours, Monday to Friday.
