Full job description

Part-time – Every Sunday (Plus additional hours if desired)

We're looking for an experienced, hands-on Sunday Manager to join our busy independent coffee shop in the heart of Bath.

This is an ideal role for someone looking for a permanent part-time management position with responsibility for leading a small team and ensuring the smooth running of the business on Sundays.

About the role

As Sunday Manager, you'll be responsible for:

Opening and closing the coffee shop.
Managing a small team of up to three staff.
Delivering excellent customer service.
Preparing and serving drinks and food.
Cooking our breakfast menu, including Full English breakfasts.
Maintaining high food hygiene and cleanliness standards.
Handling cash/card transactions and ensuring the day runs smoothly.

What we're looking for

The successful applicant will have:

Previous experience as a Manager, Assistant Manager or Supervisor in hospitality.
Confidence leading and motivating a small team.
Kitchen experience and the ability to cook simple breakfast dishes.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
A calm, organised approach in a busy environment.
A reliable and positive attitude.

Hours

Every Sunday.
Additional hours including holiday cover may be available if desired.

Pay

Competitive rate, dependent on experience.
