About Us:

B&K Hume Groundworks Ltd is a well-established, family-run groundworks business based in Greenlaw. We undertake a wide range of groundworks and civil engineering projects throughout the South of Scotland, including the Scottish Borders, Edinburgh, the Lothians, and surrounding areas.

The Role:

We are looking for an experienced 360 Plant Operator to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating our own plant on a variety of construction, groundworks, and civil engineering sites across the Scottish Borders & surrounding areas. You will be expected to work safely, efficiently, and to a high standard while supporting site operations as required.

This role suits a reliable and experienced operator who can work independently and as part of a team.

Essential Requirements:

Proven experience operating 360 excavators.
Valid CPCS, NPORS, or equivalent plant operator certification.
Good understanding of site health and safety requirements.
Ability to work effectively with site managers and groundworkers.
Reliable, punctual, and capable of working on a variety of projects.
Full UK driving licence.

Desirable Requirements:

Experience working on groundworks and civil engineering projects.
Ability to carry out basic daily machine checks and maintenance.
