34.50 hours. Days: Monday to Thursday 9am-4.30pm, Friday 9am-4pm
Community Learning Disabilities Team
Based in Bonnyrigg Health Centre, Midlothian

To provide high quality administrative support to Midlothian Community Learning Disability Team.

To provide support to the multi-disciplinary team and those who experience our Services. The use of TRAK is essential.

Undertake a range of clerical and administrative duties required to maintain the smooth running of the department.

At times may be required to work across Midlothian HSCP.

HNC/SVQIII in Secretarial Studies/Business Administration or equivalent experience.

Advanced keyboard skills.

Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.

Good organisational skills.

Good working knowledge of computer software packages.

Good working knowledge of G2 is desirable

Medical Terminology

You will be supported in your role, and you will have the opportunity to learn and gain the following:

Embed essential employability skills to support career development.
Effective planning and organisational skills
Enhance your Administrative and IT skills within a busy healthcare environment
Understanding of working in a healthcare environment
Working alongside multiple teams to support the delivery of high-quality patient care
Increase confidence in dealing with the public and effective communication skills in the workplace
