Due to expansion and the increasing growth of the company we are looking to appoint an enthusiastic person to join our team. As a Catering Butcher we supply many Top Eating Establishments throughout Yorkshire and beyond so are seeking team players to join our team.

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Production Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient production of food products, adhering to strict safety and quality standards. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in food production and mechanical processes, with a focus on maintaining high levels of food safety and hygiene. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor food production machinery, ensuring optimal performance and safety compliance
Assist in the preparation and assembly of food products according to specified standards
Conduct routine inspections of equipment to identify any mechanical issues or malfunctions
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the production area in accordance with HACCP and food safety regulations
Follow health and safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents or contamination
Support quality control processes by inspecting finished products for consistency and quality
Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets efficiently

Experience

Previous experience in food production or manufacturing environments is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
Basic mathematical skills for measurements, weighing, and data recording are required
Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in hygiene will be considered an asset
