Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper and Morning Team Member to join our team. This role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. This position also requires the need for serving breakfast in the morning before heading upstairs to housekeep our 10 beautifully appointed rooms.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent organisational skills, and a proactive attitude to ensure a welcoming environment for all visitors. Previous hotel or janitorial experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. This position offers an opportunity to be part of a friendly team committed to delivering exceptional service.

The earliest start time will be 7am, with other shifts beginning at 8am.

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain guest rooms, public areas, and staff facilities to the highest standards of hygiene and presentation
Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and linens in guest rooms and common areas
Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to management
Follow health and safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe working environment
Assist with morning preparations, including setting up breakfast areas and ensuring all areas are tidy before opening hours
Support other team members as needed to ensure smooth daily operations
Maintain organised storage of cleaning supplies and equipment
Serve food and drinks in the mornings.

Experience

Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial roles is advantageous but not mandatory; full training will be provided
Familiarity with hospitality standards and procedures is desirable
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills are essential
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards guest service

This position is ideal for motivated individuals looking to develop their career within the hospitality industry while contributing to a welcoming environment for guests.

Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
