Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Painter and Decorator to bring vibrant, professional finishes to a variety of interior and exterior projects. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming spaces through expert painting techniques and decorative finishes, ensuring high-quality results that meet client expectations. Your enthusiasm for craftsmanship, attention to detail, and ability to communicate effectively will make you an essential part of our dynamic team. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills while contributing to visually stunning environments.

Duties

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling holes, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion
Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and decorative finishes with precision and care
Use a variety of tools including brushes, rollers, spray guns, and scaffolding safely and efficiently
Collaborate with clients and team members to understand project requirements and deliver tailored decorating solutions
Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste responsibly
Conduct quality checks throughout the project to ensure flawless finishes and adherence to safety standards
Assist with minor carpentry or surface repairs as needed to support overall project completion

Experience

Proven experience in construction painting or decorating roles with a strong portfolio of completed projects
Familiarity with different types of paints, wallpapers, finishes, and decorating techniques
Valid driving license is preferred for transporting tools and materials between sites
Excellent communication skills in English to effectively coordinate with team members and clients
Ability to interpret project plans and specifications accurately
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work in a timely manner
