Store Manager – Pepe's Piri Piri
Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and hands-on Store Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our Pepe's Piri Piri restaurant. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales performance, delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining operational standards, and leading a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment.

As Store Manager, you will take full ownership of the restaurant's performance, ensuring compliance with company policies, food safety regulations, and operational procedures while creating a positive workplace culture that promotes teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of daily restaurant operations to ensure excellent service, food quality, and customer satisfaction.
Lead, motivate, coach, and develop team members to achieve operational and business objectives.
Recruit, train, schedule, and manage staff performance in line with company standards.
Monitor and control labour costs, food costs, stock levels, and wastage to maximise profitability.
Ensure all food is prepared and served in accordance with Pepe's quality standards and food safety requirements.
Maintain full compliance with Health & Safety, Food Hygiene, HACCP, and company policies.
Analyse sales performance and implement local initiatives to drive revenue growth and customer engagement.
Handle customer feedback, complaints, and service recovery professionally and effectively.
Manage stock ordering, inventory control, and supplier relationships to ensure uninterrupted operations.
Conduct regular audits and checks to maintain high standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and presentation.
Ensure accurate cash handling, banking procedures, and financial controls are followed.
Foster a positive team culture focused on accountability, teamwork, and delivering outstanding guest experiences.

Skills & ExperienceEssential

Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager, Store Manager, Assistant Manager, or similar leadership role within a fast-paced restaurant, takeaway, or hospitality environment.
Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams.
Strong understanding of food safety, health & safety, and operational compliance.
Experience managing labour scheduling, stock control, and cost management.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and perform under pressure.
Commercial awareness with a focus on driving sales and profitability.

Desirable

Experience within a Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) or branded restaurant environment.
Level 3 Food Safety qualification.
Experience using EPOS systems and restaurant management software.
Multi-site or high-volume restaurant experience.
