Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Solicitor to join our legal team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their legal expertise within a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will support senior solicitors in managing a diverse range of legal matters, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and assisting with client relations. A strong emphasis on negotiation skills is essential, as the role involves drafting agreements, mediating disputes, and facilitating negotiations to achieve favourable outcomes.

Responsibilities

Assist senior solicitors in preparing legal documents, contracts, and correspondence
Conduct legal research and analyse relevant legislation and case law
Support in managing client files and maintaining accurate case records
Participate in negotiations with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders
Draft and review legal agreements, ensuring clarity and compliance with applicable laws
Attend court proceedings, meetings, and client consultations as required
Contribute to the development of legal strategies and case preparations
Ensure adherence to deadlines and organisational policies throughout all tasks

Experience

Prior experience or placement within a legal environment is desirable but not essential; relevant internships are welcome
Experience in family law and housing litigation is desirable but not essential
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to communicate effectively and persuasively
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting
Familiarity with legal research tools and case management software is advantageous
A proactive attitude with a commitment to professional development in the legal field

Pay: £35,500.00-£42,000.00 per year

Work Location: Hybrid remote in London SM1 1JB
