As a Veterinary Care Assistant (VCA) you will support the nurse and vets with in-patient procedures and pet care delivering exceptional care always there to our clients, patients, and colleagues. 1 in 4 Saturdays

Medivet Metheringham is hiring!

Join our friendly, community-focused practice in the heart of Metheringham. As a close-knit team, we're passionate about delivering exceptional care to pets and outstanding service to our clients.

We're looking for a Veterinary Care Assistant to support our vets and nurses with inpatient care, animal handling, and the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.

Full-time, permanent | 1 in 4 Saturday mornings For your application to be considered, you must have;

Animal handling experience (essential)
Customer service experience (essential)

About you

You’re skilled at providing exceptional client care and are passionate about caring for pets. You’re a team player who wants to make a real difference in a practice that values and supports you.

We welcome applications from candidates able to prioritise, remain calm under pressure and who are flexible and willing to learn.

This role is not suitable for young workers in line with Health and Safety Executive (government) direction due to the expected duties of the role. Therefore, you will be asked to confirm that you are over the age of 18 as part of the application process.

What you’ll be doing

Typically, in this role, you’ll:

Deliver exceptional care to clients, supporting surgeries and procedures, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards
Deliver patient monitoring and care to pets, including walking, toileting and feeding
Work collaboratively within a supportive team
