Trundley Design Services is a multidisciplinary practice specializing in architectural design, planning, and construction management. We pride ourselves on delivering innovative solutions for projects ranging from modest residential extensions to multi-million-pound industrial developments. Our dedicated in-house design team is committed to excellence and client satisfaction.

The Role.

We are looking for a talented and driven Architectural Technologist to join our growing team at our office near King's Lynn. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects. We have extensive experience across a broad range of sectors with a significant focus on serving clients in the food manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities

Produce detailed technical drawings, specifications and construction packages
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to ensure designs meet project requirements.
Assist in planning and coordination of construction documents.
Support project managers with technical specifications and documentation.
Resolve technical issues and response to site queries during construction phase.
Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure design compliance.
Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations and relevant standards.
Support project delivery from concept to completion.

Requirements of this Role.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other relevant software.
HNC/HND or Degree in Architectural Technology (or equivalent)
Excellent attention to detail.
Clear and effective communication skills.
Ability to manage workload independently and as part of a team.
Full UK driving license and own transport is essential due to office location.

Desirable Experience/Skills.

Experience working on industrial projects
On-site / construction phase experience
An understanding of construction processes and UK building regulations.
CIAT membership (Currently holding or working towards)
Knowledge of food manufacturing sectors (including meat processing, cold storage, dairy, bakery) and applicable industry standards
