Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pizza Chef to join our vibrant kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality pizzas, ensuring all dishes meet our standards of excellence. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a keen interest in culinary arts and food preparation, looking to develop their skills within a dynamic restaurant environment.

Duties

Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and toppings according to established recipes and standards
Cook pizzas to perfection using appropriate methods and equipment
Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety and hygiene regulations
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times
Assist with meal preparation for other menu items as required
Monitor stock levels and notify management of ingredients that need replenishing
Follow health and safety procedures diligently during all stages of food preparation
Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service and ensure timely order completion

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a kitchen environment
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques related to pizza making and general meal preparation
Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in a restaurant setting
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
Good communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team
Previous restaurant experience or serving background is advantageous but not essential
Passion for food, creativity in presentation, and attention to detail are highly valued qualities

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
