Full job description

We are looking for a professional and organised Spa Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our spa. In this role, you will ensure every guest and member receives a warm, efficient, and seamless experience from arrival through to departure.

You will be responsible for managing bookings, coordinating appointments across departments, processing payments, and supporting retail sales. Acting as a central point of communication, you will help ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the spa.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Excellence

Deliver a consistently friendly, professional, and efficient service to all guests and members
Manage bookings and appointments to maximise business performance while maintaining excellent service standards
Ensure fair and effective distribution of bookings across the team
Maintain accurate client records, including relevant booking details and medical information
Process billing and payments accurately and efficiently
Maintain stock levels of reception materials such as brochures and price lists
Ensure all equipment and systems are in good working order, including operating manual systems when required
Follow all operational procedures, standards, and appearance guidelines

Guest Experience

Welcome and check in guests and members in a professional and friendly manner
Provide detailed knowledge of all treatments, services, and current promotions
Handle guest, member, and staff queries confidently and effectively
Support retail sales by recommending suitable products

Team & Communication

Act as a key point of contact between departments to ensure smooth coordination
Build strong working relationships across the team
Attend and contribute to departmental meetings
Ensure proper key control procedures are followed

General Duties

Report any maintenance issues or unusual occurrences promptly
Work flexibly across shifts, including weekends when required
Carry out any additional duties to support the needs of the business

About You

Friendly, professional, and highly organised
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
Confident handling bookings, payments, and guest queries
Flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Previous experience in a spa, hospitality, or reception role preferred
