Description

Priory Supported Living London and Home Counties provide Supported Living Services for people with a variety of support needs, conditions and presentations. This includes people who are autistic, have a learning disability or mental health needs. Our specialist support enables people to live happy and fulfilling lives in their own homes within their community.

The support provided by our service is person-centred and specifically tailored to meet every unique need, underpinned by our philosophy that every individual has the right to live the life that they choose for themselves. We can provide support up to 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including 1:1 support.

At Priory Supported Living London and Home Counties, we are committed to reflecting the guidance of The Reach Standard in everything we do. This means we work with our tenants to ensure they receive the right support to help them achieve their goals and reach their full potential.

What you'll be doing

We are looking for a Support Worker to work in the EN3 (Enfield) area to do 20 hours over 2 days, which is Friday 10pm to 8am and Saturday to do 10pm to 8am.

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. In this rewarding role, you will provide the highest standard of person-centred support and care, enabling the people who use our service to live with dignity, independence, and choice.
Support workers are key workers, and provide direct support to our service users in support them to live there best lives. Our work is rewarding but can be challenging, so resilience is key. No two days are the same! Your natural empathy will help you support others through both the highs and lows.

You will play a vital part in helping individuals achieve their personal goals, supporting them in daily living, and empowering them to realise their potential.

Key Responsibilities

Provide personal care and support with daily living tasks.
Encourage and assist participation in activities and community life.
Support service users in achieving their personal outcomes in the way they choose.
Maintain accurate records, care plans, charts, and daily notes.
Build positive relationships with service users, families, colleagues, and stakeholders.
Uphold safety, security, and confidentiality in line with policies and regulations.
Act as a key worker for individuals, helping them to set goals and track progress.
Promote choice, independence, and involvement at all times.
Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing ideas and suggestions.
