Overview
We are seeking a Business Analyst to join our construction company specialising in residential and commercial building projects. The role involves analysing business operations, project performance, costs, and operational processes to identify opportunities for improving efficiency, productivity, and profitability. Responsibilities include gathering business requirements, preparing reports and performance dashboards, analysing project and financial data, identifying process improvements, and supporting strategic decision-making. Applicants should have a degree in Business, Management, Finance, Construction Management, or a related field, along with strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Previous experience in business analysis, data analysis, or operational improvement is preferred
Responsibilities
- Analyse existing business processes and identify opportunities for operational improvement.
- Gather, document, and evaluate business requirements from management and operational teams.
- Monitor and analyse construction project performance, including costs, budgets, productivity, and resource utilisation.
- Produce detailed reports, dashboards, and management information to support strategic decision-making.
- Conduct financial and commercial analysis of projects, contracts, procurement activities, and business operations.
- Support implementation and optimisation of business systems and reporting tools.
- Liaise with project managers, site teams, commercial departments, and external stakeholders to gather and validate business information.
- Assist senior management in developing business strategies, operational plans, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Evaluate market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to support business growth.

Pay: £36,000.00-£50,200.00 per year
