Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Van Builder or Trainee Van Builder. This role involves assembling and installing customised van interiors, working closely with experienced technicians to develop specialised skills. The position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in vehicle modification and build a career in the automotive or bespoke conversion industry. Candidates should be eager to learn, physically capable, and possess a keen eye for detail. All roles are paid positions based on experience and skill set.

Responsibilities

Assist in the assembly and installation of van interiors according to specifications
Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during various stages of build
Support the team in measuring, cutting, fitting, and securing components within vehicles
Perform heavy lifting of materials and parts as required for the build process
Maintain a clean and organised workspace to ensure safety and efficiency
Follow instructions from senior technicians to ensure quality standards are met
Contribute to troubleshooting and problem-solving during assembly processes
Adhere to health and safety protocols at all times during work activities

Qualifications

Basic mechanical knowledge or experience is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
Familiarity with hand tools and power tools is advantageous
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to specified weight limits)
Physically fit with good manual dexterity and attention to detail
Willingness to learn new skills within vehicle assembly and modification processes
Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team
No prior experience necessary; full training will be provided for trainees
