As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a proactive, organised and hands-on Operations & Fulfilment Lead to help drive the next stage of our journey.
This is a key role within a small, ambitious team. You'll take ownership of our warehouse and fulfilment operation, lead a small team, and play a pivotal role in developing the systems, processes and standards that will support the future growth of the business.
If you're someone who enjoys solving problems, improving efficiency and making things run seamlessly, we'd love to hear from you.
The Role
You'll be responsible for ensuring our warehouse and fulfilment operation runs efficiently, orders are delivered accurately and on time, and our operational processes continue to evolve as the business grows.
Working closely with the founder, you'll have genuine influence over how the business operates and will be encouraged to identify opportunities for continuous improvement across every aspect of the operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day warehouse and fulfilment operation.
- Manage, support and develop a small warehouse team.
- Plan and prioritise daily workloads to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
- Oversee inventory management and maintain exceptional stock accuracy.
- Manage the packing, dispatch and returns process to the highest standard.
- Coordinate deliveries, collections and logistics.
- Identify operational challenges and implement practical solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce errors and optimise workflows.
- Develop, review and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Support the implementation and ongoing optimisation of RFID and inventory management systems.
- Maintain a safe, organised and efficient warehouse environment.
- Work closely with the commercial team to deliver an exceptional customer experience from enquiry through to return.
- Foster a culture of accountability, ownership and continuous improvement.
About You
You'll have previous experience in warehouse, logistics or operations management and enjoy creating efficient, well-organised systems.
You'll be someone who:
- Is highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
- Leads by example and enjoys supporting a small team.
- Naturally takes ownership and works proactively.
- Is a practical problem solver who enjoys improving processes.
- Remains calm under pressure and prioritises effectively.
- Is confident using technology and operational systems.
- Takes pride in delivering consistently high standards.
- Enjoys building systems that enable a business to grow.
Experience within the events industry isn't essential. We're looking for someone with the right attitude, operational mindset and a genuine desire to make a positive impact.
Why Join ALBA?
This is an opportunity to become a key part of a growing luxury events business where your ideas will genuinely shape the future of the operation.
We're looking for someone who treats the business as if it were their own; someone who enjoys spotting opportunities for improvement, building efficient systems and creating an operation that delivers excellence every single day.
