This is an excellent opportunity to join our talented team spearheaded by our Head Chef . Previous kitchen experience is required with salary dependent on experience. 5* Ness Walk hotel, located off the Banks of the River Ness, in Inverness, Capital of the Highlands. Ness Walk has 47 bedrooms, Torrish Restaurant and Bar and our Riverbank Suite which can accommodate weddings and other prestigious events.
As a Chef de Partie, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of our kitchens, working closely with the senior team
Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing and delivering high-quality dishes that meet Ness Walks standards
Maintaining excellent organisation, cleanliness and food safety within your section
Supporting junior chefs and contributing to a positive kitchen culture
This is a hands-on role for a motivated chef who takes pride in their craft and enjoys working in a high-quality, professional kitchen.
Previous experience working as a Chef de Partie or an aspiring strong Commis Chef in a quality-led, professional kitchen
Strong technical skills and attention to detail, with a focus on well-executed, beautifully presented dishes
Willingness to learn, take direction and continue developing your culinary skills
Friendly, enthusiastic and genuinely passionate about food
Thrives in a team environment and contributes positively to kitchen culture
Calm and focused under pressure, even during busy services
Takes pride in their work and strives for excellence in every dish
Ambitious, motivated and supportive of colleagues at all levels
You don't need to meet every point listed above to be a great fit for the role.
Working five days from seven, shifts including evenings and weekends.
Salary around £31,000 per annum depending on experience, gratuities shared every month along with uniform provided, free leisure club membership and much more.
